Hello! My name is Scott Barrish, and I am the owner of Been There, Inc. which provides private pay home care to seniors and persons with disabilities here in Tampa, Florida. I also offer life, career and business coaching to any individual.
I am especially qualified to address this need because I too have a severe
disability - cerebral palsy. I cannot walk and have limited use of my arms, and I must use an electric wheelchair to get around. I also have a mild speech impairment. Yet, I have accomplished feats in my life that nobody thought possible just a few years ago. I have earned my master’s degree from the University of South Florida in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in December of 2004. My agency can provide the following services: chore, companion, homemaker, and home bath care visits to seniors and persons with disabilities. We have been in business since the summer of 2001, and our staff is excellent. It is extremely fulfilling to help seniors and persons with disabilities like myself to live fuller and happier lives with the help of our support services. I will be also adding a full range of life coaching services for any individual who would like to put their life together to live a better and happier life through making better life choices.
I created this web site to promote Been There, Inc., to the local Tampa Bay community. I offer keen insight, personal experiences and my advanced degree that it might bring inspiration and hope for a new era where seniors and persons with disabilities can live independently at home with the help of my agency.
